Kenya is one of the countries I have a special connection to. This is because of Villa Massai, which I bought in 2007. Together with my colleagues, we try to inspire others to explore Africa in general and Kenya in particular, beyond the confines of all-inclusive hotels.

This Kenya blog is my love letter to the people there, their worries, dreams, and needs, if you will: authentic background information combined with personal travel experiences of the country and its people. I have changed the names of the people I met there for privacy reasons.
